Corvette

The Chevrolet Corvette – America’s Sports Car – has been voted the most iconic car of the past 75 years by a MotorTrend readers’ poll. Much like America’s Team, the Dallas Cowboys, it’s a title that’s never truly in jeopardy of being relinquished. But unlike the Cowboys, the Corvette has only continued to develop and become more formidable with age.

At this point, the Corvette is synonymous with speed, style and luxury. However, its lofty reputation didn’t develop overnight. Courtesy of Community Chevrolet, let’s delve into the history of the Corvette and explore why Chevy’s sports car still endures in the hearts and minds of drivers everywhere, 71 years after its debut.

Birth of the C1

The first generation of Corvette, christened the C1, made its debut at the 1953 General Motors Motorama car show, which took place at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Though the sports car wasn’t the dynamic world-beater we know today, it garnered enough interest for mass production to begin in June of that year.

The original line of Corvettes was completely hand-built and used fiberglass bodywork. The 1953 model was commonly referred to as the “solid-axle” model, before its successor implemented independent rear suspension. 300 Corvette convertibles were manually produced that first year – all in Polo White. The 1954 model year would diversify things with Pennant Blue, Sportsman Red, and Black color options.

As competitors and copycats – or both – began entering the market, the 1955 C1 model made waves by offering an optional V8 engine. The Corvette was able to shave three full seconds off its 0-60 mph time thanks to the V8, and the powerful engine quickly became the overwhelming preference for Corvette drivers. With the V8 leading the charge, sales numbers gradually began to rise. By the time the second generation (C2) of the Corvette arrived in 1963, complete with the new Sting Ray coupe redesign, the Corvette had become the new standard for peak automotive performance in America.

Becoming an Icon

Despite its world-class handling, you don’t become the most iconic car of the greater portion of a century through specs alone. In order to secure its legacy, the Corvette needed to maintain visibility. Thus, the Corvette became a fixture of American pop culture, frequently appearing in movies, television shows, songs, and more.

The Corvette’s first major cameo came in 1960 on the popular crime drama Route 66, a show sponsored by Chevrolet. Serving as the main characters’ vehicle of choice, Chevy made sure that the Corvette was replaced with the latest model at the start of each season. At the height of the show’s popularity in 1962, Chevy gifted astronaut Alan Shepard a ‘62 Corvette upon his return to Earth. It wasn’t long before every astronaut at NASA wanted the Corvette treatment.

In the decades since, the Corvette has become even more engrained into our pop culture landscape. In 1983, Prince sang about a “Little Red Corvette” for his first top-ten hit in America. Sam Malone pined for one (and eventually had to find the right owner to sell to) on the massively popular sitcom Cheers. And just last year, Margot Robbie drove a modified first-generation Corvette model in 2023’s highest grossing movie, Barbie. (For all its merits, Best Picture winner Oppenheimer was significantly lacking in the Corvette department.)

And finally, there’s the Corvette’s long history of success at the race track. The Corvette Racing team has been completely dominant since its inception, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans nine times, the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona four times, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and has claimed the top podium spot at countless more racing events. The Corvette has also won the Indy 500 a record 21 times.

Join the Corvette Crew

True to its nature, the Corvette – now in the midst of its eighth generation – has shown no signs of slowing down. Introduced in 2019, the C8 dared to look forward by looking to the past, becoming the first rear mid-engine Corvette since the C1’s inception in 1953. The base-model Stingray coupe has become one of the most popular iterations of the Corvette yet, while the Corvette E-Ray and its hybrid powertrain have given Chevy a blueprint to propel America’s Sports Car towards its centennial.

Get over to Community Chevrolet today and see for yourself why the Corvette is still the face of American automotive excellence after 75 years. Make sure you schedule an appointment with our certified service technicians for all your Chevy’s spring maintenance needs. Our Parts Department and Body Shop are also at your service, stocked with everything your Chevy needs to stay on the road. After all, as the Corvette demonstrates, one thing that Chevy vehicles know how to do is endure through the years.

Chevy Blazer EV

A lot can happen in three months. It’s easy to forget just how much momentum the 2024 Chevy Blazer EV had accrued before a software-related stop-sale in January temporarily pumped the brakes on its hype. Pre-orders were piling up for the much-anticipated electric SUV, and MotorTrend deemed it a cut above its closest competitors in the Ford Mustang Mach-E and Tesla Model Y Long Range.

Now, the Chevy Blazer is back to seize its electric throne, as General Motors announced Friday it is resuming sales. Not only have the software issues that prompted the stoppage been addressed, but the Blazer EV returns with a handful of new software features. To cap it off, the MotorTrend SUV of the Year also sports a new, lower price to commemorate its return.

The 2024 Blazer EV, along with its full lineup of Chevy siblings, is waiting for you at Community Chevrolet. But first, let’s take a moment to remember why the Blazer EV was so anticipated in the first place.

Fire Sale

The 2024 Chevy Blazer EV replaces 2019’s revamped Blazer crossover (itself a revival of the boxy, off-road 1969 Blazer.) The newest Blazer certainly fits its moniker from an aesthetic standpoint, with fiery styling and the implied forward motion of its horizontal creases running down the profile. The EV is slightly shorter than the gas Blazer yet offers ample ground clearance.

The Blazer EV returns with four trims, with even more iterations expected to follow. The four current trims are the LT AWD, RS AWD, and RS RWD. As mentioned, each trim now boasts a lower price tag. The LT AWD now starts at $50,195 (down from its original price of $56,715). The RS AWD starts at $54,595 (down from $60,215) and the sporty RS RWD runs at $56,170 (originally $61,790). Lest you be alarmed, the price drop is in response not to the sales stoppage, but to comparable price slashes by its Ford, Nissan, and Tesla competitors.

What isn’t changing is the Blazer EV’s eye-opening efficiency numbers. Its real-world range has clocked in at 239 miles – 23 more than its acclaimed rival, the dual-motor Hyundai Ioniq 5. And with a max charge rate of 190 kW, the Blazer EV is a fast-charging phenom.

Software Upgrade Enabled

The Blazer EV’s advanced cabin was one of its immediate selling points, and it’s easy to remember why. The future is evident in every pixel of its massive 17.7-inch infotainment screen. An additional 11-inch digital display gauge rests beside it. Meanwhile, navigation, music, and other apps are all handled by the Google built-in system.

The Blazer EV spent its time off productively, adding even more software features. New Blazer drivers are now treated to customizable, multi-colored ambient lighting, as well as updated graphics with battery percentage display. GM also assures that it has improved its quality testing and software processes to prevent software issues from hindering the Blazer moving forward.

Blaze Your Own Path

It’s fitting that the Blazer EV’s return coincides with the start of baseball season. Back in January, the SUV seemed primed for a huge season, only to be sidelined throughout spring training. Thankfully, it’s back right in time for the opening day of spring, and all the family outings and getaways that come with it.

Make the switch to electric today when you inquire about the Blazer EV at Community Chevrolet, Meadville’s home for all things Chevy. Or stick with the reliable gas tank with acclaimed Chevy vehicles like the 2024 Trailblazer. After all, at Community Chevy, we recognize our customers as the trailblazers of tomorrow; we’re just here to get you prepared before you set off on new roads.

Equinox

Chevrolet is preparing the newest Equinox, marking it as the latest Chevy to undergo a makeover within the past two years. In that period, every Chevy crossover and SUV – including the TraxTrailblazerBlazer, and Traverse – is either new or has received a redesign. With the 2025 Equinox, Chevy’s down-the-line upgrade fully comes to fruition.

The SUV segment is currently the largest and most competitive segment of automobiles in the country. To stand a chance, you need to stand out – and the Equinox’s bold new look and thoroughly revamped cabin commands all of the eyeballs.

We should receive the 2025 Equinox by year’s end here at Community Chevrolet. In the meantime, here’s what we can expect from the fourth generation compact SUV.

A Rugged New Exterior…

Compare the 2025 Equinox with, say, the 2020 model, and the extent of its evolution is apparent. What was once a rounder, more conventional SUV has been inspired by the sharp bodylines of both the Chevy truck lineup and the 2024 Traverse. 2.3 inches wider than its 2024 counterpart, the 2025 Equinox has undergone muscular refinement – like a professional athlete beefing up during the off-season.

The Equinox will come available in three unique trims: LT, RS and ACTIV. Its bold new contours pair amicably with striking, all-LED light elements. The Equinox runs on a returning, turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 175 horsepower. It’s backed by a continuously variable transmission in front-wheel-drive configurations, or an eight-speed automatic transmission with available all-wheel-drive.

…With a Tech-Heavy Interior

Like its upgraded SUV siblings, the new Equinox has been reimagined as a tech-forward driving experience. Its new 11.3-inch, diagonal infotainment screen is more than 30% larger than the Equinox’s previous largest screen. Thanks to Google built-in, it’s also an interconnected hub, with quick and intuitive access to music, maps, media, and more.

Other cabin highlights include:

– Electronic Precision Shift
– Standard heated steering wheel & heated front seats
– Folding 60/40 split-bench second row seats
– Hidden rear cargo floor storage space
– Available wireless charging

Safety First

It wouldn’t be a 2025 Chevy if it wasn’t decked out with the latest in Chevy Safety Assist technology. This suite of features includes:

– Automatic Emergency Braking
– Forward Collision Alert
– Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking
– Following Distance Indicator
– Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
– IntelliBeam

That’s in addition to now-commonplace standard safety features such as Rear Vision Camera, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Change Alert, Emergency Braking, and more.

Chevy (Equi)nox It Out of the Park

The actual equinox, which signals the start of spring, takes place on March 19 this year. We won’t see the arrival of the new Chevy Equinox by then – but perhaps by the time the autumnal equinox rolls around on September 22. And while the 2025 model is surely set to be Chevy’s definitive version of the Equinox, the 2024 model is still the best at what it does.

You can find that and much more here at Community Chevrolet, including the redesigned 2024 Trax. If you’re looking to go in a different direction in 2024, perhaps this is the year you go electric with the Chevy Bolt EUV? Your options await you, and you’ll find them at the number one Chevy dealership for Meadville and its surrounding areas, Community Chevrolet.

Roses

Don’t look now, but tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. Are you still struggling to find the perfect gift for your special someone? Sure, you could serenade them with flowers and chocolates for the umpteenth year in a row. But if your sweetheart is a car lover, this could be your chance you’ve been waiting for to go the extra mile.

Courtesy of Community Chevrolet, here are six Valentine’s gift ideas for the auto aficionado near and dear to your heart.

A Day at the Track

If your gearhead is an avid fan of racing circuits like NASCAR or Formula One, chances are they’ve fantasized about what it would be like to sit behind the wheel of their favorite race car or luxury vehicle. Fortunately, there are race tracks throughout the country where the public can test out exotic cars at high speeds. Check out the Xtreme Xperience race track in Pittsburgh, where you can navigate Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, and more around a 1.6-mile course, starting at $249.

While you’re at it, consider throwing in a new pair of leather racing gloves. If your significant other is going to spend the day cruising around at breakneck speeds, they should at least look the part.

A Full Detailing

What better way to express your love than by demonstrating love towards your partner’s vehicle? After all, the only thing that beats finding a brand-new car in the driveway is finding your trusted, reliable car looking like brand new. Detailing can be as thorough as you want it to be; treat the exterior to a waxing, polishing, or repainting, while shampooing and lathering the interior. It won’t just save them a trip to the car wash – it will resuscitate that new car smell.

An Automotive Getaway

Go big this year by planning a trip to one of the country’s premier auto attractions. Book a flight to Los Angeles and visit the Peterson Automotive Museum, featuring one of the largest car collections in the world. Get lost in a world of gears and glamor when you check out iconic movie cars at Universal Studios. Or perhaps you’d prefer to vacation north in Detroit – the birthplace of the modern vehicle – and its nearby Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn. The options are endless, and if you decide to make a road trip of it, cruising the open road with your significant other may prove a gift in itself.

Lego Car Sets

Whether you’re seven or 70, you can’t go wrong with Legos. When your partner’s dream car isn’t a realistic gift option, the miniature version can often be just as thoughtful. It helps that Lego sets are now available in virtually every configuration you can imagine. Ferrari, Corvette, even James Bond’s Aston Martin… you and your sweetheart can spend countless nights assembling them together. With price ranges from $20 to $500, Lego kits work with every budget.

Amazon Echo Auto

If your beau is still driving an earlier car model, it make lack the modern amenities that have enhanced the driving experience. Keep them connected and entertained with the affordable Echo Auto. Simply connect through your phone’s Alexa app and enjoy a simplified, hands-free driving experience. Listen to your favorite music or podcasts, call and message using voice commands, and more – all through the magic of this diminutive add-on.

Driving Sunglasses

Let’s face it – you’re more than likely going to be driving around the Meadville area with your partner all year long. You can at least ensure they look good in the seat next to you. Consider a pair of aviator glasses, such as this pair from Cyxus, for UV protection paired with a classic style.

It’s All in the Game of Love

Make this Valentine’s Day one they’ll never forget when you visit Community Chevrolet. If a new or used car is already in your short-term plans, what better way to surprise your partner than by finding new roads with Chevy? From the 2024 Chevy Tahoe to the award-winning Colorado, the grandest romantic gestures of all can be found right here at Meadville’s premier Chevy dealership.

Service Tech working on brakes

It’s the start of a new year, which unfortunately means your car is officially one model year older and needier. But by remaining vigilant for any potential warning signs, you can stay one step ahead of costly repairs this year. Plus, spotting these red flags early on and taking prompt action can significantly prolong the lifespan of your vehicle.

First up: determining if you’ll need new brakes in 2024. Courtesy of Community Chevrolet, here are five early signals that your brakes might be calling for your help. (Hint: it sounds like screeching.)

High-Pitched Screeching

Often, you’ll hear brake problems before you see or feel them. This is usually due to a high-pitched screeching sound that emits from your brake pads when they start to wear thin. However, it’s important to note that the screeching isn’t directly caused by worn-out brakes. Car manufacturers deliberately include a small metal piece in the brake pads to serve as an indicator, signaling the need for replacement.

If the squealing sounds continue despite new brake pads, your rotors are the next thing that need inspecting, as they may have glazed. This occurs when metal heats up and burns due to excessive braking. Check your rotors for blue marks or a dark ring; either could indicate that the rotors also need replacement.

If you start hearing a loud, metallic grinding sound instead of the screeching noise, it’s a sign that your brake pads are completely worn out and need to be replaced as soon as possible. Immediately take your car in for service, as leaving your car in this position could potentially pose safety risks.

The Eye Test

Sometimes it’s best not to overanalyze things. If you notice any visible issues with your brake pads, chances are there’s a problem. The brake pads can be found between the wheel spokes, pressed against the rotors. Take their measurements, and if they’re thinner than a quarter of an inch, it might be a good idea to schedule your service appointment with us at Community Chevy.

Performance Anomalies

When your brakes stop responding as quickly as they should, it may be a sign of a leak in your braking system. If your brakes are sending out vibrations (the kind that causes your steering wheel to shake, not the Beach Boys kind), either the brake pads or rotors need replacing.

Your brakes regularly send signals like these to alert you about their condition. The better you become at understanding your vehicle, the easier it becomes to evaluate abnormal performance, determine the reasons behind it, and address it swiftly.

Extreme Sensitivity

You might start your Chevy Suburban today only to find your brakes unusually sensitive, jerking you to a halt at the slightest tap of the brake pad. This could be due to the rotors wearing down unevenly, or the brake fluid needing a replacement.

On the other hand, it becomes problematic when your brakes lack sensitivity and require excessive pressure to engage. This might indicate low brake fluid, worn-out brake pads, or even suggest an issue with your car’s hydraulic system.

Puddle of Doom

The last thing you want to see on a bright, sunny day is a puddle formed beneath your idle car. Unless it’s residue from a forgotten overnight storm, it’s most likely your brake fluid dripping out of your car after a leak. You should be able to tell the difference between regular motor oil and brake fluid, which is notably thinner.

Take a Break From It All

Life is full of starts and stops… but you should still have some control over when they occur. Don’t leave your fate to the whims of faulty brake pads or rotors. Visit us at Community Chevrolet today, where we never put the brakes on a good deal. With our inventory of new and used vehicles at your disposal, you’re sure to find the car, truck, or SUV that pulls out all the stops.

Corvette

Longtime Corvette owners probably think one of two things when they see that headline: “way to state the obvious,” or “well, that’s an understatement.” But even though the Corvette has been dazzling – and retaining – drivers for decades, we now have fresh new data to support its stellar reputation.

Consumer Reports surveyed its members about their car purchases in 2023, focusing on one key question: if you had to do it over again, would you buy or lease the same model? While luxury and high-performance cars consistently ranked high, the Corvette emerged as the clear, consensus choice for the top spot.

(I Can Get) Satisfaction

An overwhelming 93 percent of Corvette owners said they would definitely buy the car again, the highest mark in the Consumer Reports poll. For context, 88 percent of Rivian R1T owners said they would definitely buy it again – and Rivian’s electric pickup received the second-highest satisfaction score. Only 81 percent said they would re-purchase the Hyundai Ioniq 6, which slotted into the list’s tenth spot. The entire top ten was as follows:

1. Chevrolet Corvette (93% satisfaction score)
2. Rivian R1T (88%)
3. Mazda MX-5 Miata (88%)
4. Lexus NX Hybrid (87%)
5. BMW X5 (85%)
6.Rivian R1S (84%)
7. Ford Maverick Hybrid (83%)
8. Kia Telluride (82%)
9. Honda Pilot (82%)
10. Hyundai Ioniq 6 (81%)

Unlocking a New Gear

The Corvette’s continued popularity should come as no surprise. Last month, it was named to Car and Driver’s 10Best list for the 25th time (the second-most appearances ever, trailing only the Honda Accord). Yet even as the Corvette has become a symbol of consistency, it’s done anything but rest on its laurels.

With the 2025 Corvette, Chevy will enter the sixth model year of the eight-generation Corvette (or Corvette C8). The 2024 base-level Stingray was the most powerful production model yet. Thanks to its LT2 V8 engine, which focuses its power on the rear wheels, it was able to blast a quarter mile in just 11.2 seconds. The Stingray also boasts 495 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, and its 0-to-60-time clocks in at 2.9 seconds.

Step Into a Corvette

Whether you’re a longtime Corvette loyalist or simply someone craving satisfaction, we’ve got everything you need at Community Chevrolet. Whether you’re interested in the Corvette or another award-winning vehicle – such as MotorTrend’s 2024 Truck of the Year, the Chevy Colorado – our vast new and used inventory will surely include the perfect vehicle for you.

No survey is necessary at Community Chevrolet; when you leave our lot, we make sure you drive away one hundred percent satisfied.

Chevy Blazer

Earlier this month, MotorTrend set out to crown a winner amongst three of the biggest electric SUVs on the market. The competitors were the immensely popular Tesla Model Y, the Ford Mustang Mach-E, and the eventual winner – the all-new, 2024 Chevrolet Blazer RS

The magazine had previously named the Blazer EV their 2024 MotorTrend SUV of the Year. But in engaging in direct competition with the Model Y and Mach-E, the Blazer had to prove that it belonged in the upper echelon on aesthetic, performance, and fuel economy levels. To say that it passed with flying colors is an understatement.

Today, we review MotorTrend’s comparison of the three electric SUV titans and break down how and why the Blazer emerged victorious.

The Weigh-In

The Blazer is both larger and heavier than the Tesla Model Y and Ford Mustang Mach-E – which might help explain why it has the shortest estimated range of the three, at 279 miles. That the Blazer was able to prevail despite lagging in range, arguably the most crucial number for EVs, tells you all you need to know.

Chevy’s entrant also boasts the boldest design of the three: a futuristic, fiery styling that invokes its name and exhumes swagger. Its tapering window line and rippling creases suggest forward momentum, and its backlit badge breaks into an LED light show whenever the Blazer is plugged in.

As MotorTrend puts it, “the Blazer RS looks like what we thought we’d be driving in 2023 20 years ago,” adding “it looks like something you might drive from colony to colony once we all move to Mars.” While all three vehicles are vying for the title of SUV of the Future, the Chevy Blazer RS is the only one that truly nails the look.

The Judging Process

Admittedly, the Blazer’s triumph was aided by faults found in its two competitors. MotorTrend was unequivocally against Ford’s decision to expand the Mustang line with the Mach-E. The result is an awkward blend of its future-facing electric design and last-gen Mustang flourishes. Meanwhile, the magazine was not enamored with the Model Y’s hunchback Model 3 design language, nor its poorly disguised, cost-cutting interior work.

But the Blazer RS ultimately prevailed on the strength of its innumerable merits – particularly ride quality. In driving over a bumpy tarmac as part of their test, MotorTrend found the Blazer RS vastly superior in both comfort and dealing with the uneven terrain. Although Chevy’s EV lagged behind the Mach-E and Model Y in terms of conventional performance figures such as zero-to-sixty speed, the consensus was that while the Blazer was lacking in sporty performance and steering, it more than made up for it in comfort and efficiency.

(Plus, as MotorTrend points out, Chevrolet might very well be saving its flashier specs for its upcoming sport variant, the Blazer SS).

Most of all, the Blazer RS was the clear winner when it came to spaciousness and interior design. It boasts a well-implemented 17.7-inch central screen, and MotorTrend was particularly enamored with its implementation of old-school knobs and buttons to complement the screen features.

The Verdict

While MotorTrend fully concedes that the Blazer RS would have finished in third place in terms of pure numbers – be it price, range, performance, or efficiency – there’s something to be said for a vehicle that’s able to overcome these inherent disadvantages and still comfortably take the crown. The magazine chose to value the SUV that drove best in real world, consumer-inspired scenarios. On that front, the sleek, charming Blazer RS stood out as the pinnacle of electric SUV refinement.

You can check out the 2024 Chevy Blazer, as well as our other available electric vehicles, when you stop by Community Chevrolet today. Make 2024 the year you make the switch to electric. With a huge inventory of new and used vehicles ready to be driven off our lot, we’ll help you blaze a trail into the new year and beyond.

Winter Tires

We’re now well into December here in Meadville, but the winter has thankfully remained tolerable, with above freezing temperatures and minimal precipitation. But as a wise man once said, “winter is coming.” With that in mind, this is could be your best and final opportunity to purchase a set of snow tires before the landscape becomes more white than grey. Community Chevrolet is here to help explain why that would be a wise decision.

What’s the Difference Between Regular Tires and Winter Tires?

As you’ve probably surmised, winter tires provide significantly more traction on ice, sleet, and snow than regular (or “summer”) tires. This is due to both the tire compound (i.e., rubber and silicone) and the tread patterns that allow for greater flexibility on slick surfaces. In fact, winter tires are designed to move water, as they melt the top layer of snow and ice when pressing down on it.

Conversely, summer tires can freeze up during the colder months, leading to decreased performance. They also run a higher risk of deflation. Basically, the chances of you winding up at our Service Center increase the longer you keep rolling with summer tires this time of year.

How Do I Know What Winter Tires Are Right for My Vehicle?

Choosing the right winter tire relies largely upon choosing the right size. Conventional wisdom would tell you that wider tires equal better traction. But when driving through snow, narrower winter tires are often more effectively able to cut through to the ground. As always, when it comes to the exact size of tires your vehicle requires, it’s best to consult your owner’s manual.

Perhaps the most important thing to look for when purchasing winter tires is the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol. Think of it as a seal of approval and badge of honor rolled into one. When this emblem is stamped on your tires, you know you’re good to go in the snow.

Are Winter Tires Worth It?

Quite simply, yes. We know it can be frustrating to have to open your wallet due to seasonal conditions. But with the increased risk that summer tires take on in winter months, there’s no guarantee you won’t be in the market for a new set of tires come spring anyway.

Plus, the adage that “you can’t put a price on safety” is still around for a reason. Sticking with your original tires is a gamble that puts both yourself and your loved ones at increased risk. In other words, it’s a gamble not worth taking.

Don’t Skid into the New Year

Purchasing tires can seem like a hassle regardless of the time of year, but the experience is made effortless with the tire professionals here at Community Chevrolet. We’ll help you find the tires that are perfect for your vehicle, ensuring that you soar – not skid – into 2024.

Bearded man and his dog celebrating Christmas.

With Thanksgiving now in the rearview, the holiday shopping season is officially underway. While coming away with the perfect gift can be a challenge, it helps to narrow your choices to a single field of interest. For the avid car aficionado in your life, adding some gear to their garage is a tried and true way to make their nice list this year.

There are thousands of car accessories, tools, and cosmetic upgrades available, each a potential stocking stuffer for the gearhead on your list. Courtesy of Community Chevrolet, here are eight great auto-themed gifts that caught our eye in 2023.

ThisWorx Car Vacuum Cleaner

The interior of your car deserves better than a cursory vacuuming at the car wash every other month. With this handy, lightweight accessory, which comes with a 16-foot power cord, you can reach every nook and cranny of your car, keeping the interior pristine year-round for the comfort of yourself and your passengers. It utilizes cyclonic force and powerful suction to completely clear dust and debris, and comes with three unique attachments: flathead, extendable, and brush nozzle.

Avid Power Cordless Tire Inflator

Your tires run a greater risk of deflation during the winter months, when every 10 degree drop outside could mean a loss of one or two PSI. Waiting for your low pressure light to alert you can be risky, as it can do so at any number of inopportune moments. Instead, try to monitor your tires more regularly throughout the winter, servicing them frequently. Rather than waiting behind a line of cars at the gas station’s lone air pump, ask for this top-of-the-line portable tire inflator. With its 20V rechargeable Li-ion battery pack power supply, you won’t have to worry about deflated tires slowing down your holiday travels.
